Madeira Swim Breaks Records

Last weekend, 13 Madeira swimmers traveled to compete in the VISAA State meet. Madeira proudly finished 5th overall, out of 50 total teams, "an outstanding accomplishment and a true testament to the continued strength of Madeira’s swim program," states Athletic Director Tavis Laws.

Weekend Highlights:

• Madeira's 200 Relay team set a NEW SCHOOL RECORD with a time of 1:34.94.
• Erin Kass '29 captured the VISAA State Championship in the 100 Back (54.65), setting another Madeira School record in the process.

Coach Laws went on to share, "Across the board, our athletes delivered to end the season strong. The majority of our swimmers dropped time and raced to personal bests at the championship meet, a clear reflection of their preparation, focus, and commitment."
