Madeira Actors Take the Conference Stage

At last weekend's Virginia Thespian Festival, 14 Madeira students exhibited their talents for Thespys judges and, out of over 500 performance-based entries, nine Snails scored Superior in one or more categories. One was even selected to perform in the closing ceremony!

Olivia Tirol '27 and Camille Fallen '26 participated in the conference's group college auditions, collectively receiving 22 callbacks, 11 acceptances, and 13 scholarship offers.

Students also had the opportunity to join workshops covering a variety of topics, ranging from stage combat to dance, vocal technique and beyond.
