2019 Camp Information Coming Soon!

Welcome to Summer at Madeira!

No matter what your child's age or interest, Madeira has a summer program they are sure to enjoy.

Camp Greenway

Our widely popular Camp Greenway is a traditional day camp that has been going strong since 1973. Rising K-8th grade children enjoy a variety of daily activities that blend learning and fun. Throughout the two-week program, children have the opportunity to bond and experience a sense of community. Situated on 376-acres overlooking the Potomac River, campers spend much of their time outdoors engaging in a variety of enriching summer activities.

GirlsFirst & GirlsFirst Junior

Girls entering 7th-10th grade will love GirlsFirst where they choose one area of interest on which to focus and obtain real-life experience while enjoying a real Madeira experience! Girls entering 5th-6th grade are invited to participate in our GirlsFirst Junior program.

Riding Workshop

Your horse/riding enthusiast will love our Riding Workshop, an equestrian day camp. Children entering grades 3-8 with little-to-no riding experience or with some riding experience learn basics and build on their existing skills in riding, horse care, and stable management.

Specialty Camps

Summer at Madeira strives to offer programs that allow campers to explore their interests. Our Specialty Camps give campers the opportunity to do just that!

Athletic Camps

Madeira Athletics offers summer camps for developing athletes of all skill levels.

Counselor-in-Training Program

Counselors in Training (CITs) are rising 10th graders who want to experience what working at Camp Greenway is all about. This program is designed for individuals who enjoy interacting with young children and are interested in further developing leadership and communication skills. CITs will work alongside counselors and other camp staff assisting in various ways.
