Powering the Future: A Net-Zero Equestrian Center
Madeira is taking its commitment to sustainability to the next level as the first school in Virginia to install a fully integrated solar roof on its new Equestrian Center, where the roof itself functions as the solar array. This innovative design is expected to generate enough energy to offset the building’s electricity use, making it net-zero. Combined with an energy-efficient design that minimizes heating and cooling needs, the project reflects Madeira’s long-term approach: investing in forward-thinking solutions that deliver lasting environmental impact.
