Working at Riding Workshop

Riding Workshop is an equestrian gem whose home is the expansive barn at the Madeira School. Using both the indoor and outdoor facilities, Riding Workshop staff create an atmosphere where campers learn to ride or progress in their craft. Our team of talented riding staff help campers foster a love of horses and expland their knowledge of horsemanship in a safe, supportive environment. With positions for any skillset, we hope you consider us for your summer employment.

Steps to Apply

  • Read through the job description for the position/s you are interested in applying to. Due to COVID-19 our format and delivery of programming has changed. All staff are expected to familiarize themselves with position expectations prior to applying.

  • Complete your online application. Applications should be completed and submitted by the applicant and not by a parent or guardian. In your application you will be asked to:

    • submit pertinent contact information including an email address you check regularly

    • complete a series of questions related to the position you are applying for

    • list all camp session that you are available to work. Priority is given to applicants who can work the entire camp season. Applicants who cannot work at least 3 weeks of camp and/or can not attend staff training will not be considered at this time.

    • list two references who are not related to you and can speak to your experience and qualifications for the position you are applying for. Summer at Madeira will contact your references on your behalf.

  •  After reviewing your application, you may be invited for an interview. Due to COVID-19, all interviews will be conducted online through a video conferencing platform.
