The Madeira School will welcome back alumna Alex Cooley as this year’s speaker at their graduation ceremony. Alex Cooley is a television writer and producer with comedy and drama credits including Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report, NBC’s Community, and Madam Secretary on CBS. Cooley started her career in New York working for Vice Magazine and now calls Los Angeles home. Before all that, she attended Harvard University where she was a member of the fabled comedy magazine, The Harvard Lampoon. She is also a proud member of The Madeira School’s Class of 1999 and is a loyal friend, ardent feminist, and a pathological list-maker.

The commencement ceremony will be held June 3, 2016 on the campus of The Madeira School.
