The Madeira swimming and diving team improved to 3-0 on the season with a 105-81 win over defending ISL and Metro Prep Champion Holton Arms.
"I am really proud of the way the girls raced and competed today," said Coach Montrie.
"We have had some really close meets with Holton over the years. This was a big win, they are a strong program who has dominated the ISL for the past 10 years. We have great respect for them and getting a win today was especially gratifying."
Double winners for Madeira were Kylie Jordan ’16 (200 Freestyle, 100 Butterfly) and Izzy Gati ’18 (50 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle). Single event winners were Maddie Heilbrun ’18 (200 IM) and Claire Simpson ’17 (Diving).
“Our divers continue to improve under Coach Parker and the leadership of captain Claire Simpson. Meaghan Doyle and Morgan Rushforth continue to impress and Montie Saunders ’19 and Grace Bilicki '17 have become big contributors on our relays. Kylie Jordan is swimming great and sophomores Izzy Gati and Maddie Heilbrun are coming on strong”
