The Madeira School is pleased to have Marcia Marsh as the 2015 commencement speaker. As chief operating officer of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, Ms. Marsh oversees the execution of its strategy, guiding their work in policy, markets and field conservation and resolving complex business problems. She also is the executive lead for the CARE-WWF Alliance, a partnership addressing the linkages between poverty and environmental degradation. WWF is a dynamic organization that works in 100 countries and is supported by 1.1 million and close to 5 million globally.
Marcia, a graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, studied international politics at the University of Virginia and is a certified public accountant. She has 26 years of general business and human capital consulting experience focusing on helping complex organizations achieve their business strategies.
She also serves on the board of WEAVE (Women Empowered Against Violence).
