October 17, 2013

On Friday, October 11, 2013, Snails volleyball coach Kim Adams notched her 200th win with a big 3 to 2 win over Bishop O’Connell. Adams is in her 19th year coaching at The Madeira School in McLean, Virginia. During her coaching tenure she has racked up multiple league championships, and in 2011 her team won the Metro Title and Virginia State Championship.

The team has a 7-9 overall schedule, and with the win over O’Connell Max Preps ranked the team fourth in the state of VA. The team has their sights set on the play-offs this year, but will need to prevail over a tough remaining schedule: facing off against Paul VI (10/15 (L)), National Cathedral School (10/17), Bishop Ireton (10/18), Sidwell Friends School (10/24), and Good Counsel (10/25) before heading into the ISL semi-finals.
