December 8-12, all over the world, people were participating in "The Hour of Code." The Science and Math Departments teamed up to campaign for everyone in the Madeira community to try an hour of code -- both an online and unplugged version. At lunch on Thursday, December 11, Katharine Jiang '15 and Kim Lytle '15 hosted an offline version, where students were encouraged to write directions for their friends to follow. The goal was for the "direction follower" to be able to successfully stack cups.
These sophomore girls had fun being active participants coding!Academics
