The Madeira Karate Dojo continues to thrive with 16 girls participating during module 3. Beginners learned the basic blocks, punches, kicks, and forms, while returning students focused on more advanced techniques and forms as well as mentoring the new trainees. In addition, all students had the chance to work bo staff, escrima sticks, sparring and throwing/falling techniques and practiced seated meditation at the beginning of each class. According to their proficiency of physical skill, demonstration of personal growth, and time in grade, the following students received their next belt level in USA Goju Karate.
