#FurloughedJuniors in the news

October 18, 2013

During the shutdown, students whose Co-Curriculum internships were suspended were assigned to investigate the effects of the shutdown and report their finding using different media. The girls interviewed members of Congress, taxi drivers, D.C. bloggers, tourists, and more to gain perspective of the economic and emotional impact on Washington. Their project was picked up by CBS Radio (spot 1, spot 2, spot 3) and Connection Papers.

With the government shutdown now over, juniors and a handful of seniors are eager to get back to work on Wednesday, October 23.
