Dottie Hayden was honored as the 2012 recipient of the Virginia Peddle Community Service Award.

Friday, May 25, 2012 members of the Madeira Community gathered to celebrate the close of another school year, celebrate faculty and staff members for their service, honored the class of 2012 and awarded new Master Teachers and the recipient of the Virgina Peddle Community Service Award. The following faculty and staff members celebrated ten years at Madeira:

Catalina Keilhauer celebrated 15 years, Rod Montrie celebrated 20 years, and Lynn Loving celebrated 25 years of service to Madeira.

Dr. Dorothy Hayden, who will reteire after 33 years this summer, is the reciepent of the 2012 Virginia Peddle Community Service award. Dr. Hayden is a coach, college counseler, Master of Ceremonies for graduation and much more. She has taught and coached three decades of Madeira girls and women.

Master Teachers were awarded to Dr. Donavan Arizmendi and Dr. Lynetta Binger.
