Tuition & Financial Aid

We recognize that a Madeira education is a significant investment in your daughter’s future. While the primary responsibility for financing a student’s education rests with her family, each year Madeira commits more than $3.4 million in financial aid and merit scholarships to 40% of our student body.

Have your questions answered: Call or email Katie Fotofili, Assistant Director of Admissions & Financial Aid at kfotofili@madeira.org or 703-556-8325 for more information about Financial Aid and our Merit Scholarship.

Additional Costs:

Books & Supplies

The cost of books and other academic supplies will range in cost depending on the courses in which a student is enrolled. Students have the choice to purchase new, second-hand, or online books. They can also rent and return textbooks using our provider. We have a small library of books for loan in the academic office.

Health Insurance

All students are required to have health insurance. International students have the option to purchase insurance through Madeira.

International Student English Program

We require all students who have not studied in an English speaking academic program for the past three years to take two years of specialized instruction for their English class. This program is very successful in preparing the international students to perform successfully in the advanced level classes. Madeira charges an additional fee for each of the two years that a student would participate in the ESOL course.

Payment Plans: We offer one, two, and ten payment plans. We encourage families to purchase Dewar Tuition Refund Insurance.

Loans: Madeira does not offer a loan program. However, Your Tuition Solution offers private educational loans administered by Springstone Financial LLC. For more information, you may call (800) 920-9777 or inquire online at yourtuitionsolution.com.
