Many families assume that the cost of a Madeira education is beyond their reach, and also assume that they would not qualify for financial aid. In fact, nearly 31% of our families receive some form of financial or merit aid. Household incomes for students participating in our financial aid program range from under $50,000 to over $200,000. For many families, a small financial aid grant ensures a Madeira education, and we are eager to help all families learn more about the financial aid process and understand their opportunity to benefit from a financial aid grant.
We believe that belonging to a diverse school community leads to responsible and compassionate citizenship in the global community. In the administration of its financial aid program, as elsewhere in our community, Madeira values diversity and is committed to honoring differences of race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, ability, and socioeconomic status.
