Every year, Madeira welcomes students from all around the world to our campus. Below is information and requirements specifically for international applicants.
Students who do not speak English as a first language must submit TOEFL scores:
Test registration must be done in advance, and scores must be set directly to Madeira from the testing agency.
All students must complete an interview as part of their application for admission. A Skype or Zoom interview can be scheduled by emailing email@example.com.
Students from China are required to interview through Vericant. Applicants with strong fluency will be invited to interview with a Madeira Admissions Officer once their application has been completed.
Applications and all supporting documents must be received or postmarked by January 15. Applications received after January 15 will be considered on a space-available basis.
- Stateside Guardian: All international students are required to have a guardian living in the United States who can be contacted in case of an emergency.
- Health Insurance: All students are required to have some form of international health insurance. International students have the option to purchase insurance through Madeira.
- I-20: Madeira issues I-20s after an accepted student has registered and paid the registration fee. Click here to find out more about the process once you have received your I-20.
