Graduation Requirements

The requirements at Madeira ensure that all students build a strong foundation in individual disciplines and in interdisciplinary learning. They also ensure that each student has the flexibility and guidance to choose the courses that fascinate and challenge her most. 

 

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS WHO ENTER IN 9TH GRADE

3 blocks (including 9th grade LAUNCH course)

Activities

3 seasons yearly, at least two of which must be team experiences

* Placement in the International Student English program is part of the admission decision, and the enrollment contract stipulates enrollment in the program. International Student English is 6 blocks and replaces the World Language requirement.
