English II

Course Details

This course pairs intensive grammar instruction with reading and analyzing contemporary short stories and the play Master Harold and the Boys.  Students will learn to write with greater grammatical correctness so that they can express ideas more precisely in their academic and future professional careers.  Reading the short stories and play will provide contemporary cultural topics for the students to write about.  Successful completion of the course for the Madeira student leads to the next Module in English II.
