Important Dates

2016-2017 Important Dates calendar is posted below. Please keep these important dates in mind as you make travel arrangements.

When booking flights, schedule travel at least two hours after the noted release time, three hours for international travel. Girls may not depart until after their last obligation (class, activity, sport or theater practice). Please check the calendar for the most up-to-date information.

** Possible Saturday Classes are dates held for possible Saturday classes in the event a make-up day is needed because of snow or other school closures. All students must be available to attend school this day if needed. *On-campus Weekends are weekend in which all boarding students are required to stay on campus. There will be school events and outings planned for this weekend.

2016-2017 Fall Varsity Tryouts and Auditions, Move-In, and Orientation Dates 

    August 2016
M-F 22-26 Optional Strength & Conditioning for new and returning student athletes 
(Dorms are not open.)
Th 25 Invited boarding student leaders move in, 3:00-6:00 p.m.
F-Sa 26-27 Student Leader Training
Su 28 Tryouts/Auditions begin for invited athletes and actors 
    Invited boarding athletes and actors move in, 8:00-11:00 a.m. 
M-W 29-31 Tryouts for varsity sports and auditions for fall play continue
W 31 Returning boarders move-in and day students check-in, 3:00-6:00 p.m.
    Fall varsity tryouts and play auditions continue
    September 2016
Th 1 New boarding students move-in, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. 
    New student and parent programming, 12:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
    All student activities 
F 2 Opening Convocation and classes begin, 8:30 a.m.

Su 27 Dorms re-open, 9:00 a.m. (Boarders must return by 7:00 p.m.)

W 21 Dorms close, 12:00 p.m.

Sa 7 College Counseling Program, required for all students. 
Parents are encouraged to attend
M 16 No classes, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Sa 28 Module 4 "snow" makeup day
