Mathematics
Mathematics
The Math Department offers a variety of courses, advises students on appropriate selection, and encourages students to take mathematics during each of the four years of high school. Our goal is to teach each girl to her full capacity and to foster an ongoing interest in mathematical principles. The minimum mathematics requirement is three years of high school math taken during the student's tenure at Madeira.
Summer Study
Summer study in mathematics requires approval from the department head and an examination provided by the Madeira Math Department. See Summer Work Procedure Form.
Math Transfer Credits
New students will take placement tests to determine enrollment in the appropriate math course.
