Library
The Huffington Library offers the Madeira community the opportunity and resources needed to explore their own areas of interest, encouraging the development of a lifelong love of learning.
The library’s collection consists of approximately 22,300 items including videos, DVDs, CDs, monographs, vertical file material, and circulating audio-visual equipment. The library uses Sagebrush Technology’s Winnebago Spectrum program for its online catalog and automated circulation system. Access to the catalog is available twenty-four hours a day via the web.
In addition to being one of the school’s most popular meeting places on campus, the library is also home to classrooms, seminar rooms, and one of the school’s computer labs. There are fourteen PCs for student access as well as a wireless network in the building allowing students with laptops to use the school’s network from tables and study carrels throughout the facility.
