At the start of the school year the National Coalition of Girl’s Schools (NCGS) released the first episode in a series of podcasts called PEP Talks: Podcast on Educational Possibilities. PEP Talks bring together experts from NCGS member schools to share and discuss best practices in educating and empowering girls. Listeners will also hear from students about how the current generation likes to learn and the teachers who inspire them.
Three Madeira faculty and staff members were integral in the creation of the first episode, titled "Innovations in School Scheduling." With the technical guidance of Stacy Tippens, Educational Technology Specialist, commentary by Assistant Academic Dean, Kate McGroarty and Chair of the History Department, Andrew Sharp, the first PEP Talk was released on October 20. PEP Talks air the third Thursday of every month.
