A Day in the Life
Madeira’s superior academic reputation is a consequence of committed students and an equally committed and experienced faculty.
Teachers at Madeira, who teach in an environment where the average class size is twelve, cheer on the sidelines at field hockey games, attend plays, serve as house adults, and attend Wednesday’s seated dinner.
A day in the life of a faculty member is filled with classes, advisee meetings and extra help, athletic practices, and many after-school activities. Faculty convey their passion for learning by challenging girls to think outside the box and showing us that the classroom is everywhere.
