Madeira's interdisciplinary STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) program encourages students to engage in an iterative process of designing and making through creative, collaborative, and practical activities.

Ninth graders are required to take the STEAM Fundamentals class, which provides a solid knowledge base in STEAM.

Throughout their tenure at Madeira, students are encouraged to take STEAM-related courses that will challenge them to solve problems and to think about solutions in new and unique ways.

Many seniors decide to spend their Co-Curriculum internship in a STEAM-related placement. Placements for the 2017-2018 school year can be found below.

After Madeira, many alumnae have and will continue to make a positive difference in a STEAM-related field.
