Today’s workforce relies on creative, collaborative, and innovative thinking – and Madeira students strengthen these skills every day through our interdisciplinary STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) program.

Beginning in Grade 9 with STEAM Fundamentals, students gain a solid knowledge base in design thinking and STEAM practices, and are encouraged to continue taking STEAM-related courses throughout their Madeira journeys.

But STEAM learning doesn’t stay in the classroom.

Madeira seniors often select STEAM-related placements for Co-Curriculum, exploring roles in aerospace, geology, healthcare, technology, and more, and many alumnae are currently making waves in STEAM-related fields.
